The recovery spending watchdog (February 2025)
According to the latest estimates from the World Bank, Ukraine’s recovery needs amount to $486 billion. Moreover, according to Oleksiy Kuleba, Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine – Minister for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine, $5 billion is urgently needed for infrastructure recovery.
Together with invited guests, we discussed which large-scale projects are being implemented during the war, what the current priorities are, and reviewed achievements and outlined future plans.
